Cutlass Technologies was called to a refinery to address a seized valve on the cat cracker. The valve, which needed to be closed for essential maintenance, had deposits of catalyst in the valve seat, preventing a full isolation.

Using our specialist non-intrusive valve releasing process, the deposits were carefully cleared within a few hours, restoring full valve operation and avoiding a multi-million-pound shutdown.
